We stayed here for 3 days while in the Anaheim area. While the property isn't in Anaheim, it's an easy 10 minute drive to Disneyland, Angels Stadium, etc. The hosts, Katie and John, are great! We had access to their pool and laundry facilities while we stayed in the apartment. John was even kind enough to drop us off at Disneyland to save us an Uber trip. They also recommended restaurants in the area. The place was very clean and easily accomodated my family of 4. Would definitley stay here again.

Amazing stay

Our stay was great! From check in to check out, we had no issues and hosts were always available and super friendly. The home had everything we needed for our week stay. We will definitely be staying here again!

This was a perfect location for being able to walk to Chapman University and visit our college kids. The neighborhood is so quiet. The outdoor patio was perfect to sit outside and enjoy. Will definitely be back!

So wonderful! Relaxing and cozy.

This was a wonderful and relaxing stay. Our family came down to go to Disneyland and we were so happy to have found The Retreat at Goose Hollow. Katie was a wonderful host and was so accommodating to our family. My boys loved staying at “the little house”. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area. Thank you Katie!

Just what I needed

I would definitely stay here again. It was clean and quiet, two things that are very important on a Disney vacation! The owner was very nice, and even came outside at night to help us find the house upon our late arrival.

Lovely home with all we needed

We loved out short stay that allowed us close proximity to Chapman University for homecoming and a space to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine in the outdoor patio. Katie as such a gracious host. Gem of a find for our family of 4. Tranquil and quite.

Lovely stay

Loved this VRBO! Such a cute place and a great location. Katie the host was very communicative and friendly with me before and during our stay and got back to me quickly if I had a question. We were provided everything we needed, and located right across a grocery store. Highly recommend, I’d readily stay here again! P.S. highly recommend Lucky’s Thai Pantry around the corner, especially the crab fried rice!! Please try it if you stay here

Perfect for the layout of the space & property….nighttime star watching and charming night sounds on private patio…..oh as well as Disneyland fireworks right on time at 9:30 each evening…..,The host was wonderful very clear calmly communicated everything i and my accommodations or requests were met with the enthusiasm and pleasure…. You could tell this isn’t just a rental property to Katie. She’s a sweet woman and takes pride and how she decorates and showcases the obvious for her guests…..
My son Roman, who is very particular was right at home and comfortable
And when we need to leave or come back our own private parking space was very easy and accessible and in a safe area I know all this is I’ve lived in the northern end of Orange for over 25 years and and while I’m looking I enjoy the comfort

Great location, great property, great host

3 of us stayed to visit family. Very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable - but also conveniently located near grocery and main streets. Google Maps is wrong - pay attention to the street address, but that was the worst thing that happened to us the whole time and Katie was right on it. We didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. Easy, convenient off-street parking too.

Great Location

We stayed at this property while I attended a work conference at the Anaheim Marriott. The location was perfect for this, and very centralized in Orange County for visits to other sights and restaurants in Orange, Anaheim, Tustin, Irvine, and even the beaches. The unit had everything we needed for our stay, and the owners were very attentive, checking in to make sure everything was OK. The area is a quiet suburban street, but very close to a grocery store and Starbucks, which was convenient for us! We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

Felt like home

We had a wonderful stay at Katie's apartment! It is an upper unit of a triplex, which is much more intimate and less crowded than a traditional apartment. Katie was a receptive and accommodating host. The unit was clean and was appointed with high quality furnishings, including the comfortable recliner sofa and beds! The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed spending time outside on the deck. We look forward to staying again in the future when we are in town for Chapman events!

Nice stay in Orange!

We really enjoyed staying in the apartment beside Katie's home! It's a lovely place - very comfortable! My only disappointment was that a hot tub was advertised on the VRBO site, but it didn't exist. Katie refunded us $100 and said she will update that on the site. Their backyard pool isn't heated, so it was too cool to use it without a hot tub in the fall. Katie was very nice.

Lovely stay in Orange

Katie and John offered us this apartment while visiting family nearby. The location was perfect and the apartment was very comfortable and spacious for three of us. There is a lovely deck with a table for breakfast, and their unheated pool was just right in the hot weather and generously shared by the hosts, with a large variety of pool accessories. The apartment was well furnished and had many of the little things that other apartments lack (adequate towels and pool towels, plenty of toiletries, full refrigerator and stove, microwave and dishwasher, ceiling fans, etc.) Very enjoyable stay and would gladly stay there again. Dad’s Birthday

This property in Orange is perfectly located for buzzing around Orange County. Flew in and out of Ontario. 20 minutes. Birthday celebration in Costa Mesa. 15 minutes. The house is expertly furnished and stocked with amenities. We will be back if Katie will have us.

Great host and location!

Katie was very communicative prior to check-in. Check-in was simple. Katie was easily available during our stay and even went beyond our expectations by inviting us to dinner and offering to drop us at Disneyland if needed. The apartment was clean and had everything as advertised. The size was good for our family of 3 and could have fit more comfortably. The proximity to Albertsons was convenient and the parking was very easy. Driving distance to Disney parking about about 15 minutes. We visit the area at least once a year and would stay again.

All of the comforts you could ask for and so close to Disney!

I flew out to California from NJ to meet up with my 19 year old son who is currently a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. My son was a huge Disney Cars fan as a child and he wanted to visit Disney California Adventure Park during my visit on the west coast. He had one request which was to stay somewhere that had a pool, so I found this place on VRBO and booked it for a weekend. We couldn’t have picked a better place! All of the comforts of home, a beautiful pool and the most gracious of hosts who went above and beyond to create a memorable stay for both of us. Thank you for that! ❤️ Would highly recommend your place to any body!
