"The barndo was so cute and clean. It was perfect for our little staycation. The location was perfect. It felt like we were in the country, surrounded by nature, but yet we were just minutes from town. It was so peaceful and quiet. The host's dogs were so sweet. The host left a sweet welcoming note and the fresh eggs, butter, and a can of biscuits left for us in the fridge was such a thoughtful gesture. "How would I know. Directions to hotel were not good enough for me and my wife to find it. Maps show it as being on I10 frontage road. No lite sign was visible at any time (we were there after dark). Address was listed as "2630 Lutcher Drive, Orange, Texas 77632". There was no exit sign for Lutcher Drive. ????? A refund would be nice. Eugene Kacir"

"I've visited a few hotels in my life. I've seen the new ones and the "older" ones. This hotel was being upgraded/remodeled. So I was nervous. But..I don't know why I was b/c this hotel was one of the best ones I've visited! Even w/the remodeling going on. The Staff was THE BEST! Yes, it's an older hotel but when I tell you CLEAN!! It was clean! Going forward I'll be on the lookout for this Hotel. I can't wait til the remodeling is finished now. Do yourself a favor and just book. This one was in Beaumont Texas. Not sure of the other locations, but THIS one was beyond my expectations! "

"The stay exceeded my expectations. The staff was very professional. Check in went smoothly. The staff members Ms. Romona and Ms. Loretta went over and above to make us feel welcomed. The rooms was very clean. I was in shock when I stepped in the room and it had a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenette. We will be back. I will highly recommend this hotel."

"My one star rating is only due to room #116 having a terrible dank smell of mold. I checked in around 10:30PM and walked into #116, I was not expecting a strong smell as I've stayed at this property before within the last six months. I was in my room for about an hour and by now with a bad headache that I decided to go to the front desk and ask if I could switch to any available room. She told me she only had #124 available so together we walked into #124 and that room also had a dank, dark mold smell thought not quite as bad as more attempted to cover up it up with the hotel's air fragrance system (great more chemicals to breath in). Since it was getting to be midnight and there weren't anymore rooms available, I tried to make it work but my headache due to toxic indoor air was just getting worse. I finally got up around midnight, gathered my things and left the hotel in search of another place to stay for the night. A request for the franchise property owner, remove the carpet from the guest rooms. I know it's a huge undertaking and very expensive project however you're making your employees and guests sick just by staying or working in the guest rooms. The hotel is nearly sold out/sold out most nights and your location off of I-10 has many company paying oil & gas industry clientele, so you have revenue. Yes, I understand the irony of unclean air and the oil & gas industry but the fact remains that these two rooms smell terrible."

"The place isn’t too bad for the price. It was clean and the beds were fairly comfy. We did initially get assigned a dirty room but that was a quick fix. First night there someone else was checked into our room and tried to get in and at about 2 am the front desk lady is banging on the door screaming something about a security check. Other than the the day staff was friendly. "
