What I liked is that it's near Eagle beach, the standard room we had was clean, new and modern, self parking was safe and quiet neighborhood. The minor complaints I had were the Spa amenities are pretty expensive, it would be nice if they lower the prices to reasonable amount to cater to their guests rather than overpricing the Spa. Another thing is the breakfast buffet's costs are a bit pricey for us. Again, please make it reasonable cost that fits the value of the services or qmenities. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel was simply excellent. The facilities, the service, the rooms, the staff were lovely. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area and on a very popular beach. Everything was really convenient. The only thing I missed was that the hotel doesn't have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel isn't really far from the airport, so it's a shame we had to take a taxi that cost us a lot of money. I think for the amount of money we pay for the hotel, it makes sense to have transfers.

Gazebos around the pool area tend to be scarce at peak hours and abundant around a pool that we were discretely notified -when we were sunbathing there, contrary to what was explained to us on arrival- that was exclusive for members of some club. Things that were not working properly, such as umbrellas or the shower besides the pool, took too long to get, or were not, repaired. The room is very comfortable, and they take the time to make it twice a day, one for cleaning and one for preparing the bed and leaving 2 chocolates. Great detail.

I cannot say enough positive things about this resort. the staff was very accommodating, and the rooms and entire facility were beautiful. We were very pampered from the time we stepped into the hotel until we checked out. The hotel was a mile or two off the beaten path but we enjoyed not feeling too crowded in. Taxis were everywhere and usually a 10-12$ fee to nightlife, shopping, or airport. We would 100% return to the Joia for our next visit.

The Perfect Honeymoon!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! It’s everything you’d expect from a brand new 5 star hotel. The room was great, the food and drinks at Marea were excellent as well as the poolside food and drinks. Special shout out to Camille at the rooftop bar/pool, she was so sweet and made our time by the pool that much better! The beach in front of the resort is beautiful and very quiet compared. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back!

This property has everything you need for an amazing getaway in Aruba. Located on Eagle Beach, it’s not too busy. There’s tons of beach chairs provided by the hotel and the staff on the beach make you feel safe leaving your belongings there while you go in the water. I’d recommend exploring restaurants close by and on Palm Beach as there’s tons of options. The food options at this resort were also incredible. We will definitely be back!!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days, and overall it was a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but I think there are some areas that could be improved. First, the air conditioning in the elevators and lobby areas near the elevators needs attention—it was very weak and made waiting around uncomfortable in the Aruba heat. Second, the music situation could use variety. Both the bar (Zuma) and the pool were playing the same songs on repeat every day. It would make a big difference if the hotel invested in something as simple as a Spotify account to rotate playlists. Also, the live performances/DJs wrapped up around 10–11 pm, which felt a little early. It would be nice if at least on weekends the entertainment went later for guests who want to enjoy the nightlife atmosphere. As for the food, it’s definitely on the expensive side, which I expected, but if you’re charging premium prices, every dish should feel worth it. Some menu items were really good, while others needed more work this was true across the different restaurants in the hotel. All in all, the hotel is gorgeous and has great amenities, but small adjustments in comfort, entertainment, and consistency in dining would make the experience so much better.

Beach process of getting chairs is inefficient and wastes hours of guests vacation time Massage at the spa was probably the worst i have had at any resort along with the intense noise of construction but guest services was very receptive and addressed the complaint. Staff are all exceptionally pleasant, polite, and receptive to all your needs. Resort is incredibly immaculate and clean

This is a great property but still under construction and some service issues to work through. Friendly staff but seemed unsure of what they should be doing. Some construction noise in the middle of the night as well as random fire alarms in the middle of the night. Beautiful resort and great location. Hot tubs by the pools weren’t working and the hot water in the room would get really hot randomly…hot water issues.

This hotel had everything you could ever want and need to make it a nice little getaway with your significant other/spouse. It is so beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The rooms are amazing with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The infinity pool was so nice to look out at the beach while swimming. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and on site. The beach was easy to access and always convenient to find a spot with free chairs and umbrellas. They even have sun bum suntan lotion on the beach for you to use at your convenience as well as ice cold flavored water filled with fruits. We will definitely be back!
