"My wife, 2 dogs and I had a great stay at this vacation home in the Dordogne region. The location of the rental is central to several excellent wineries and nearby cities. The local market is walking distance to the property and they sell fresh clams on the weekends. The property does offer a sauna and hot tub which are nice and the hosts were very attentive to our needs. There was an issue with a barking dog next store but this was quickly resolved. Ganz in der Nähe Supermärkte (etwa 10 Minuten mit dem Auto), überall Weingüter, Fahrten zum Strand etwas länger (ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto). "We had the most amazing time staying in Estelle’s chateau. She was a brilliant host - giving us a tour of the property including the history - and helped me with ideas for an itinerary for our trip.We had 19 adults and 1 baby stay - the chateau was even better than pictured - incredibly beautiful, all the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the facilities were great for hosting such a large party (kitchen utensils, pool towels, bbq etc.). I also highly recommend doing the wine tour with Estelle as we learned so much from her about tasting and production.I will think of any excuse to come back and do the whole thing again! Thank you again Estelle!"

"Enjoyed our stay here, lovely place. Highly recommended. Set in a fantasic natural area. Apartment was a 1 bed, adequate for our needs and good value for money. It was well equipped for 4, great for 2+2 little kids, but would say get a larger apartment for 4 adults. Plenty of storage. Staff are great and very helpful. Pool is not open until Middle of May, although Expedia information says Mid April. Food shopping in Hourtin centre nearby. "
