"we had such a peaceful weekend getaway here! the river views were absolutely stunning — seriously one of the best parts of the stay. the house itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, with everything we needed to relax. communication with the owner was super fast and smooth, which made the whole experience stress-free.the only heads up is that since it’s right by the river, there were quite a few mayflies around in the evenings — but that’s just nature being nature! we stayed inside after sundown, played board games, and had a great time anyway. during the day, we bbq’d and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space.would absolutely stay here again. "The entrance and dining breakfast area has beautiful wood and historic item. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and modern. Used the gym and warning trails from Love Park. We would stay here again in a heart beat."
