"While we were only in Akyaka for one night, our experience at the Ayka was everything we could hope for. One thing is clear is that we would come back to this town for a longer stay and absolutely stay at this hotel again. Clean room with balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean through the trees. Great breakfast capped an enjoyable stay."
"We stayed at Nuup Hotel in mid-April, and even though the weather was still on the cooler side and the pool wasn’t open yet, the experience was absolutely lovely.
The property itself is incredibly charming—tucked away between trees and mountains, it feels like a hidden retreat. With fewer guests during this time, the atmosphere was especially peaceful, quiet, and elegant. It’s easy to imagine how vibrant and even more enjoyable it would be in the warmer months when the pool is open and the surroundings are in full bloom.
One of the highlights was the breakfast and restaurant area, which overlooks a small pond filled with animals. It adds such a unique and calming touch to the setting. The natural beauty around the hotel is truly special—lush, serene, and perfect for unwinding.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway immersed in nature, this is a fantastic spot. There are plenty of opportunities nearby for hiking and biking, and you’re only about a 30-minute drive from a stunning coastline.
Overall, Nuup Hotel offers a peaceful escape with a lot of character. We’d definitely love to return in the summer to experience it in a different season."
"Returning to Paradise: Our Unforgettable Stay at D Maris Bay
There are places you visit once—and then there are places that call you back. For us, D Maris Bay is the latter. After a blissful stay in May, we knew we had discovered something extraordinary. So, we returned for another 10 nights, and once again, it was pure magic.
Nestled in a breathtaking corner of the world, D Maris Bay is more than just a luxury resort. It’s a sanctuary where nature’s beauty meets impeccable hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—crystal-clear waters, lush landscapes, and sunsets that seem to pause time.
But what truly sets this place apart is its people.
Every meal, every moment on the beach, every interaction with the staff felt personal and heartfelt. While we wish we could name everyone who made our stay so special, a few deserve a special mention:
• Rojda – A shining example of grace and kindness, always ready with a warm smile and thoughtful conversation.
• Muhammed – The soul of the lobby bar, whose charm and service made every evening memorable.
• Busra – Our popcorn girl (she will understand) and for doing absolutely everything possible to make our trip perfect. Always with a smile
• Yusuf – The friendly face at DD Scoop, serving up daily joy with every scoop of ice cream.
To the entire team—thank you. You’ve created a place that feels like home, only better. We left with full hearts and a promise to return again.
If you’re searching for a destination"
"The hotel itself is nice and in a perfect location if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It’s also within walking distance of a charming town centre (about 20 minutes at a brisk pace).
The rooms are on the smaller side, and the standard rooms without sea view are very dark, as they overlook a garden with a large tree blocking much of the daylight.
Breakfast is good, but if you’re staying for a longer time it becomes repetitive as it’s exactly the same every day. This is also the first hotel we’ve been to where we were charged extra for eggs, sucuk, omelettes, or menemen. Coffee wasn’t included with breakfast, and no water was served either, which felt disappointing.
The staff are helpful, but they often looked bored and were on their mobile phones a lot.
The beach definitely needs more attention – bins weren’t emptied daily, and on several occasions we found glass and even a dead bird, with no sign that the area was being checked regularly. Perhaps this was because it was the end of the season, but basic cleanliness should be consistent all year round.
Overall, the hotel is nice and has potential, but it does need some improvements to make the experience feel more polished and welcoming.

"Property and service is great. The road to get there is very bad. Once you arive its beautiful place. Quiet. Not much to do and no place to go. Good for resting and relaxing "
