Being in a castle is unique by itself. First impressions were not as expected, fake flowers everywhere, a bar with a kitschy look, a spa with no pool, an outdoor area like a beer garden, it felt a bit like in an amusement park. Everything about this stay was perfect. The staff was very helpful and personable. The room was immaculate. Breakfast was made to order and very good. Tongeren is a lovely, quiet town. A terrific stay.

This is one of the most amazing hotels I have stayed at. The outside is a small unassuming alley, but open the door and a beautifully constructed hotel. The decor is simultaneously modern and classic all at once, and the rooms are clean, modern, roomy, with great amenities. Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate.
