"We had a lovely short but very sweet stay at this hotel. The location is everything and we were fortunate to have some great views from our room. Though the check in process could have been smoother, the staff were hospitable. We had to wait up at security for some time before being escorted down on the buggy to reception, we also contacted the hotel as we were at the rocky ferry harbour and had no way of reaching the hotel, I feel like this could be a possible free service that the hotel could offer to guests rather than it be something additional we paid for. The only other real downside was the pool closing at 4pm, a lot of people were shifted from the main pool so that set up for dinner could start- I think a more reasonable time for this would be 5pm given the set up in the morning is delayed due to breakfast. Other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend."

"The host was exceptional. He was so helpful in organising transport from the mainland to the island and also to the accommodation. When travelling in two groups, he ensured that everyone made the last boat across. He also helped organise snorkelling so easily. I was able to check in early without any hesitation. The place was also great. It has everything we needed included drinking water. The pool was great. It was a perfect location to be able to walk to cafes and restaurants. We did not need to hire a scooter. We would certainly recommend this stay to others."

"We stayed at NYUH Gading Hill for 2 nights and wish our stay was longer. Our room was clean, had the required essentials, shower worked well (good water pressure and temperature). We did note some ants in the bathroom on the last day, but this was quite common amongst several places we stayed in Bali so didn't think too much of it. The staff were friendly and food at the restaurant tasted good but smaller portions. The pool water was warm with nice jets and deep enough that you could actually swim. The highlight was the view (though there is some construction in the area). The hotel did not have organized taxi pick up from the port, but connected us with drivers to move around the island (it is quite pricey compared to main land Bali though!) or you can rent a scooter per day. Overall a comfortable stay and would recommend."

"We had an awesome time at The Tamarind. The pools are beautiful, the rooms are very spacious, even with the rollout bed for our daughter. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were absolutely beautiful, so helpful and friendly. The only thing was the location, which was a short walk to the nearest beach. As the hotel is built on a hill, there are lots of steps to get to your room and the pool, but the views are worth it! Thank you for our stay. Anita"

"Very simple accommodation, clean and tidy, staff were helpful and kind. This is very traditional, no frills accommodation, limited hot water - plenty for a shower. No television. WiFi available and reliable. The beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect for access to the beach and taxis to other areas. The pool is on the small side, but perfect for the size of the property. We stayed with our 2 children and had two rooms/huts side by side. We would stay again"
