Davenport Stay

We had a great stay at the property. Lots of room for a family get together which included different age groups from a baby to toddlers and grand parents. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We also used the Solterra Gym and Resort everyday.

Our stay was a beautiful experience. The home was very spacious and accommodating to my family and I. The only thing we were confused about was access to the pool etc. We didn’t know we’d have to pay in order to use that.

Family Oasis

The house was as per the listing. With 4 toddlers, the garage toy room was a wonderful perk! This home was close enough to experiences, but in its own quiet street. The owners were quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Vacation Rental

One of the best rentals we've ever stayed at. Very well layed out, tons of space. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Pool/spa were delightful. No complaints that we could come up with. We had 3 different families/couples there - and one has plans to book this again for their holiday trip!

Great for large families (all ages)

Overall, great place to stay. Close to Theme parks, pool in back yard plenty of space for 12 without getting on each other's nerves. Kid space was great for the little ones (1.5-8y), gaming/games were good for (12-14y) and enough TVs for the adults to all watch what they wanted.

Amazing vacation home!

Beautiful home and location! The girls loved the little playroom in the garage and the adults enjoyed the pool outside. The home had everything we needed! This vacation will be hard to beat!

Great Family Get-together

Had a great time meeting up with my family and having a nice space for our little ones to play. The hosts were very responsive and the house exceeded our expectations. The common areas were much larger than we expected from the pictures and the house was stocked with plenty of kitchen tools, towels, and toys! Would not hesitate to visit again!

Best of the best!!

Overall we will give this home a 10 out of 10. We are repeat customers and this home is everything that we continue to want and need for our immediate family. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen, in the pool, we enjoyed the hot tub, and would definitely return for a third time.

Great location

We enjoyed the community pool and water slide. The gym was decent. We went to old town which was 25 min away. House itself was laid out nicely and fit our 3 families perfectly. Plenty of TVs to accommodate everyone.

Perfect for Family

We loved our stay. It was perfect for our family with small kids. They loved the playroom and the pool. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread-out. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day at the parks. The kitchen had nice amount of supplies for cooking. The drive to Disney Parks wasn't too bad, but it definitely depended on traffic.

Very big house ideal for 4 couples or 2-3 families. Had mostly was is needed. A few things (mainly pans and and kitchen stuff) need updating (ie; cooking for 6-7 in a very small frying pan is tough) or replacement but very much OK. Decent stay overall

Family vacation

For the most part the stay at this property was great the pictures were exactly like the property. The house was clean, as well as the check in was a breeze especially with a family of 12. Only issue we had was both refrigerators went out during our stay and we had to improvise the owner did respond quickly and sent someone but the refrigerator never started back working properly. The shower heads in every bathroom look like they need much cleaning and/or upgraded. But the overall experience and stay was great would definitely stay again.

Family vacation for 10

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. The house had everything we needed. Lots of dishes, utensils, pots, bowls and towels. We paid for pool heat and it was a perfect temperature. Tons of space and the extra fridge in the garage was a benefit and well used. We lost the internet once so we emailed John and it was fixed within minutes. There is open space behind the property and a hedge around the pool area so lots of privacy. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

I need it to try to clean the pool area for more than 2 hours and the patio furniture was as dirty and damage as you can find.

Davenport Getaway

We love the Davenport area. You are close to everything but just outside of Kissimmee and Orlando. The Solterra Resort is our favorite to stay in. The communication with the property owner was the best I’ve dealt with in the 7 years we’ve been making this trip. We had a couple issues with the spa. I contacted the owner and it was taken care of right away. It’s a beautiful house. There cleaning people could do a little better job but overall it was pretty clean.

You won't get any sleep

The only way you will get some sleep is if you can sleep through loud noises. The Property is beautiful. However, it's located by two fire stations& the walls and windows are paper thin. Which is sad because it proves they were poorly built because none of the units are connected. However, you can hear neighbors talking and emergency sirens all through the morning, day, & night.

Far from impressed, the property needs some attention

Upon check in on Monday we found a note telling us we couldn’t use the pool until 11:00pm as it was shocked earlier in the day. Again, Thursday morning the pool cleaners were back telling us we needed to stay out of it again as they needed to shock it again. We choose this property as we have 4 kids and they love to swim. The house really needs a deep cleaning, the lanai was covered in spider/cobb webs, the interior lighting and baseboards and walls covered in dust, far from the luxury description. We had no control of the thermostat, many bedrooms upstairs had no air conditioning during the night which made for very uncomfortable sleeping. We spent most of our time next to the pool, we were very disappointed with the worn out uncomfortable patio furniture, again far from luxury. Updated pictures in the listing would have given a more accurate property description.

This House is Beyond Dirty. It is Disgusting

This house was disgusting. We left after one night. There was not on surface utensil or cup that was clean. Who ever is managing this home should be ashamed of themselves. This house is not dirty, it is accumulated into a complete disaster. I am so disappointed in the condition of this home that i can't possibly relay how bad it was. It looks like it has been rented out to a bunch of bikers again and again and never cleaned between. I would be disappointed if i went to a remote fishing camp and discovered this level of cleanliness. We spent hours cleaning and it was hopeless. To the point that one of the beds had been slept in and the sheets not cleaned. Thanks for the refund but the house is in shamble. I would strongly suggest taking it off the market and repairing and replacing the floors wall, ceilings and trim. All plates and utensils need to be replace as do the glasses and the appliances. Trust me when i say this house is trashed
