Good Stay

Property is great and perfect location. Only downside were the king beds were stiff as stone. Proximity to clubhouse and pool are great. Small pool at house is perfect for quick dip.

Paradise Palms

This was a very comfortable condo. Everything was clean and the location was perfect for our needs. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pickleball court on the property. Very peaceful holiday.

Orlando stay

The property had everything we needed. The public pool was never crowded. We did not eat at the grill there but the drinks were tasty! Any kind of shopping is only minutes away. The only suggestion I would have is to get mattress toppers for the beds. The mattresses are very very firm. But I have no complaints!

Close to everything

This townhome is large and close to the parks. The pool at the home is nice along with the complex pool and amenities. When we arrived the air conditioning in the home and pool heat were broke but Mark was prompt and had them fixed by the next day. Unit is clean and beds comfortable. Could use some touch ups from all the rental usage but overall a great home.

Nice space could use update

This worked just fine for our stay. The other reviews are accurate, the place is worn and could use some updating and general upkeep. It worked out well for the price for our group; we were rarely there for more than just sleep and everyone got their own bed. The private pool was FANTASTIC as didn't have time to go to the community pool. Check in process was easy. I did reach out before we arrived about the review concerned about mold and water stain and they addressed the issue and had everything fixed and repainted before we arrived. They are upfront about the limited supplies; though felt that 1 trash bag, half rolls of TP and paper towels for a 6 night stay was a bit stingy. There are NO bathmats, no kitchen towels, no potholders. We had to use the limited number of towels as bathmats so no one slipped and wash cloths as potholders. Overall our stay was good.

Great neighborhood! Bare minimum accommodations.

Pros: 1. The neighborhood and clubhouse amenities are very nice. (And super close to this unit!) 2. The check-in process was straightforward 3. The condo was very quiet! 4. The property manager was great to work with and did his best to make things right. 5. The pool was heated! 6. The master bed mattress is quite comfortable! Cons: 1. The condo is dated. Furniture is worn, flooring on the stairs is falling off. 2. Outside of the master, the beds are not even remotely comfortable. 3. We had dead bugs in the bedding (I get it, it’s Florida and bugs will get in, but dead bugs inside the duvet covers is just gross) 4. They stock the ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM disposables. We had partial rolls of toilet paper, a single trash bag, 1 roll of paper towels, minimal soap, etc. The property manager did his best to offset the inconvenience of a late night Walmart run, but this is just a silly corner to cut. Raise your price by $5 and include an extra roll of toilet paper. 5. The pool is tiny! The pictures are a bit deceptive. That being said, the clubhouse pool and spa are GREAT and only a few steps away. 6. The cleaners are doing bare minimum surface cleaning. Don’t look behind doors, under tables, furniture, etc. Overall, the stay was fine. Mark was great to work with. I understand cutting costs to make your place as affordable as possible, but you may have cut just a little too deep. A decent deep cleaning and a couple rolls of TP would be a game changer!

Nice property.

The resort is nice. The property is clean, and roomy, and walking distance to the club house. It's close to food and shopping. Be prepared to bring your own toiletries. Description says you get a starter pack but it's whatever is left over from the previous renter. All of the toilet tissue and paper towel rolls were more than half used, and we had to buy more within 2 days. There are no cleaning supplies either. Also, do not leave any food on the counters. Apparently, they have sugar ants in Florida. We left some donuts on the counter, and when we came back, the box was full of ants. The owner said this was normal. Also the freezer started leaking water inside, and it was leaking all over the floor. There was no mop on the property, so we had to put towels on the floor, all around the refrigerator. They sent a repair person out, but it wasn't fixed before we left. The repair guy tried to say we have a ice maker up too high? First of all, we didn't even touch the ice maker, and secondly, how does one turn the ice maker up too high? Anyway, overall, our stay was good.

I would not recommend staying at this townhouse. The first day we got there we found the cushions to the bench at the kitchen table to be stained pretty bad, the ceiling fan in the upstairs king room made a terrible noise so we were not able to use it, items were left under the bed and toilet in the king room upstairs looked as if it had not be properly cleaned in months due to it having a lot of black buildup inside the toilet. Also the tv in the queen room didn’t work. I messaged Mark and he called me but his response was only “are you being nice and telling me this or do you want me to do something about it. Those were minor things so we kind of made do. Our second night we noticed that there were dead bed bugs and an alive one the queen bedroom. The bed bugs were on a corner of the box spring. Along with the bed bugs there were dead ants all behind the bed along with live ants throughout the room. I called Mark (the owner of the house and he was kind of rude). He seemed frustrated bc “they just went through this”! Apparently someone who stayed before us unzipped the mattress cover and bed bugs fell out of it so they had to get the house treated. This all took place at 8:45 pm and Mark expected us to just pack up and leave without offering us another place to stay. We came all the way from SC. And being that it’s the week of the 4th of July everything is sold out or very expensive. We were told not to use the room and use the couch but we were not offered any of the money back for the inconvenience. We also found what looks to be a pair of women’s underwear between the washer and dryer. There were also ants all throughout the townhouse along with two roaches found in the bathrooms. Finally received a message from Mark and he refunded us $50 for the inconvenience which we don’t feel like is enough. If you don’t mind living with bugs then this is the place for you. Otherwise go somewhere else.

You get what you pay for

This house was on the cheaper side in every way. Main floor entry and kitchen floor was sticky and had absolutely not been cleaned. Shoes stayed sticky after leaving each morning. You'll want shoes to walk on it. Furniture was old, stained, and in need of being replaced. Microfiber sofa in living room was dirty and stained. Felt dirty to sit on. Coffee table was filled with heat stains. TV in main living room had poor cable connection and would consistently freeze. Image on TV in downstairs main bedroom was yellow and faded. No sound. Walls were dirty in places. Comments about the place needing a refresh and deep clean were accurate albeit maybe understated the need for it to be cleaned. Community pool looked nice but we never used it. (Reason below) House pool was ok but we we didn't really use it. I think maybe one of the kids did once. When we did go outside to the covered pool area it felt like all the music and conversations from guests staying next door were just as clear and loud as your own conversations so. Visual privacy yes. Sound privacy no. Would not recommend to families who have other members of their group staying outside of the facility. Security is unnecessarily tight with lines to re-enter the community longer at times and pool/clubhouse is locked down to those with wristbands. We thought it would be ok because it did say outside guests could be added to the front gate and be allowed access to the amenities. However, we found out the hard way that outside guests can only be added if you are sleeping less than the 8 person max that the house allows. I asked Mark if we could add two additional guests and we were told no. With no further response. We were visiting Florida with a volleyball team in town for nationals and ended up going to two other team members accommodations, both with better community pools and neither required overly complex wristbands for guests. The only thing we kept saying was, at least it cheap.

Our stay was a well deserved vacay and paradise palms was very nice and accommodating for us. The thing I would say is maybe the televisions needed to be updated, bit other than that it was very nice and our host was great when we called and texted he responded very quick.

Good property with a couple of caveats

The great parts: Loved the downstairs king room and step in shower. Property is very convenient to Disney and very well equipped and roomy. The beds were good. Mark (the owner) was great with communication. Paradise Palms is a nice secure neighborhood.The parts we wished were different: If you have someone in your group with mobility issues, this might not be the place for you. There are 3 shallow steps up into the unit. We had rented an ECV and had to lift it up and down the steps every time we went out or came in.The BIG problem is that the washer and dryer are on the second floor, up a 19 step fairly steep flight of stairs. The final negative (This isn't unique to this unit: every place we have stayed that has a private pool has this same issue.) There's no railing on the steps getting out of the pool, so someone with mobility issues needs to be careful exiting the pool. It really surprises us that local building codes allow this.CONCLUSION: I would rent this property again, although it probably wouldn't be my first choice.
