The Berkey is just ok, but nothing spectacular, I am astonished that it is a 4 star, as it has no bar and no place to even get a hot snack (vending machines do not suffice).
The room was clean and spacious but smelled stagnant due to the lack of natural ventalation, with some of the smaller closets being particularly bad.
The hotel is located excellently if you are planning a Disney holiday, however Universal and International Drive are a 40 min drive without traffic and over an hour with traffic (which can be grinding after walk 15k steps for the third day in a row). In fact you can not stay here without transportation of some kind, as there is nothing within walking distance (and I mean nothing), the nearest bars and restaurants are a 5 min drive away, meaning someone always has to be the designated driver.
The pool is heated and spacious and well maintained, there is a nice size hot tube too.
Staff are excellent and friendly, they will try to assist you in any way they can.
My biggest gripe though, is the resort fees, prior to booking I enquired and was given a link stating 33.75 per stay, however on arrival we were charged a flat 150, when I asked another member of staff the following day about the fees I was told it was actually 11.25 plus taxes, HOWEVER, on checking out got a receipt sting I had paid my taxes when I had initially booked.. 4 different amounts by 4 different staff!!
Given the price and location I would not stay here again.
