Disappointing Stay – Predatory Fees and Poor Design

I’m giving this two stars only because I’m trying to be generous, but honestly, it’s pushing for a one. This property feels like a masterclass in false advertising. Don't be fooled by the photos—the amenities you see are far from included in your stay.
The "Hidden Cost" Trap
The nickel-diming here is relentless. We were shocked to find:
• The Pool/Gym: A staggering $107 PER DAY just to access the pool. You can ask if gym is included, if you dare.
• The Grill: Locked up with a cheap bike lock. If you want to use it? That’ll be another $90.
Micromanagement & Threats
The owner implements "template regulations" on guests that make it impossible to relax. There were actual threats regarding the thermostat—apparently, setting it below 70°F for comfort is a violation. It feels less like a vacation rental and more like a high-surveillance dormitory.
Design Flaws & Physical Discomfort
• The Shower: Good luck figuring out how to turn it on; the regulation system is a nightmare. Even if you do get it working, the half-glass wall design is a failure, allowing water to overflow across the entire bathroom floor.
• The Beds: If you’re lucky enough to not break out into a sweat in the middle of the night, your body will be sore and back stiff when you wake up. It feels like you’re directly sleeping on a box spring. I can't type everything I want do to character limit. Find a better place to stay!
