"Yes, it is a dated property, yet the rate paid was a direct correlation to it. If you want newer and modern, pay accordingly. However, with no sunset in the summer, some sort of blind is definitely needed. Also, figure out how to keep the solid doors from slamming! Awful in the early morning and evening worse in the late nights trying to sleep. Warn guest there is a loud/late events happening during their stay. Put them away from the noise, not right above it.
