"Very cool place with good food and the staff was awesome. Location is pretty remote but worth the view. Would recommend only using vehicles with decent clearance. We had a Nissan rogue and that did the trick. "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"

"You can easily walk to some local trails and other hotel restaurants. This hotel was a gem! We loved our room, the walls are a little thin but we only shared with one neighbor. Beds were very comfy and had lots of pillows and wall plugs. Staff were pretty friendly, our only “poor” interaction was when we showed up at 8:30 am after a morning hike and were told the breakfast ends at 9 am and made a little fuss over us arriving at 8:30. "The service was awesome, the place has so many beautiful flowers and plants its a very happy place. The room i stayed in was a disappointment, no air circulation (no fan nor AC). The temperature outside was nice and cool, but the room does not have good circulation. No blackout curtains, so you wake up early, if you want to or not."

"Met dank om ons oordeel te vragen. Dit hotel is reeds gesloten sinds november 2018. google maps bracht ons ter plastse. Daar stonden we om 17u. Voor een grote gesloten poort. Niemand ter plekke. Het bijgevoegd telefoonnummer werkt niet Wij zijn toen begonnen met het zoeken van andere ingang. In de omgeving was niemand die ook maar gehoord had van dit hotel. Alle mensen waren extreen behulpzaam. Om 9u. 's avonds terug op internet gezocht en daar stond een ander hotel nl eco villas...

"It's a nice house about halfway up one of the mountain roads, but contrary to what you might expect, it isn't really secluded. There are plenty of neighbors and their dogs all around. Overall, it's a fantastic house for the price, and can hold 5-6 people comfortably. The view is fantastic! However, just be aware you absolutely need a 4wd car to get up the disintegrated half pavement half dirt road. While this is a good house, and lots of space for the price, there are some ways where the house...
