We spent most of our time on daily hikes and day trips-- the hiking is challenging and highly worthwhile.The town has two small groceries open every day and a couple of shops open only on the weekends. The bakery is open daily and highly worth a visit. Rekkedal farm up the road is open for dinners two or three nights a week. The room we rented for two was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with an induction stove, water heater, and refrigerator. The bathroom looks fully renovated and feels fresh and modern.
