The location is perfect. It is very convenient to train station, and different shopping markets. The room is spacious. However, the check in process is quite complicated. Also, it was advertised as twins bed mattress, but it is more like a single size mattress. The pillow is very small and flat that it is not comfortable at all. The cooking stove is quite weak, not powerful enough for good cooking. The exhausted fans and one light are not working properly, but it did not affect my staying in the apartment. The host is very responsive even after mid-night. greatly appreciated.

I hated that check in was really far (a subway ride) away from the hotel. We found it almost impossible to find the hotel (the name was different than the name advertised), so we wandered for at least 20 minutes not knowing what to do. It was very clean, and I liked having a separate room for the 2 adults from the children. I have a bad knee and cannot kneel, and not having any chairs in the room was hard because I couldn't sit on the floor until I was going to bed because I knew it would be hard to get back up. It was nice to have a washer, but I would have liked to have been able to hang more items up to dry instead of draping them over every available space. It was quiet, very clean, and the bedding accommodations were nice.

Great location and easy to find. It's only 2 stations away from Umeda or 20 min away by walking !! They also provide a Pocket Wifi My only complaint is the AC seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for a while and I had really bad allergies/ allergic reaction because of the dust. Other than that I loved staying thereand would consider staying there again.

No refund from typhoon
My flight was cancelled because of typhoon jebi and i didnt even make it to osaka. Hotel refused to give me a refund, even though my other hotel and my airline volunteered to refund me due to the typhoon.

It was a good choice for a short stay. The place is also near to a subway station from which it is easy to reach the rest of the town. For the price this room was more than appropriate.

Home away from Home
The HG COZY Hotel is more of a air bnb type. It’s an apartment but so much better than renting a hotel room. To some the room may have small but it was enough for me and 3 others esp since most of the time we just only slept there and was busy all day. It’s a 20 min walk to Umeda/Osaka station. There’s a Lawson that’s 24 hrs and a grocery store that opens at 9 am thats nearby. The Lawson you can actually withdraw foreign currency. As for check in, it’s fairly simple if you do the self check in. I’m pretty sure it was the time difference but I got worried that I wasn’t going to get it in time. I also made a mistake and didn’t book the correct date. I missed a night but it was easy to contact and remedy the issue. Only hard part is that everything was in Japanese but I just used google translate and some of it was easy to figure out. I would def recommend this place to other people and even stay here again!
