"My family and I stayed at Homewood suites and our room was in the 2nd floor. The front desk staff(guy) gave me the keycard and I've been looking for the room number. Turns out the second number is a 0 and not 2. Good thing another staff at the elevator helped me and we enesed up going to the front desk to clarify. The first staff who assisted me doesn't seem approachable at all. The room was clean, we had a comfortable stay and will be looking at homewood suites locations when we travel. Hot breakfast was amazing, the kitchen staff refilled and kept everything organized and clean. This location at Stratford CT is very quiet. But not walkable, you would need to drive to get around. The stop light across from hotel is not working. "

"The Carriage house was amazing. The location is beautiful, the interior design is really unique and fun and the host was an excellent communicator. We especially loved how quiet it was while still being so close to the city and amenities. Incredibly easy check-out experience too so we're always thankful for that. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area!"

"This place was unsanitary, dirty and unsafe. We arrived to many windows open- upon trying to shut and close them, several did not lock leaving me feeling unsafe. Then came the disgust when trying to load some food in the fridge and freezer when I discovered leftover food, and dirty sticky shelves. The only kitchen towel available was filthy with many caked on residue. Then there were two very light blankets and no sheets for the entire place which entailed 6 full sized beds. Barely enough towels (and I question the cleanliness of those given the other discoveries) half used soap in all the bathrooms- disgusting used sponges in the kitchen. The floors were all sticky and greasy. And I came upon the mop and bucket I presumed was used to clean the property and there was mold growing on them. I contacted VRBO and they were of no help or assistance whatsoever. Stay away at all costs. Pictures are definitely deceiving. Don’t be duped like we were. The worse stay of our lives."
