"It's a nice traditional place, very well located in the old town. Very clean but not very modern, and with a shower-in-tub arrangement that was difficult to deal with and felt quite dangerous. Absolutely lovely breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Very good food and huge portions in the hotel restaurant. No English TV at all, not even CNN or BBC, so that was a disappointment, "

"Wir waren absolut begeistert von der Wohnung! Sie ist sehr gemütlich, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht, damit man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. In der Küche gibt es alles, was man zum Kochen braucht, die Betten sind bequem, und es gibt frische Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Die Lage ist hervorragend – es ruhig und angenehm. Das WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei, und die Wohnung ist hell und freundlich. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für ihre Gastfreundschaft und Aufmerksamkeit: Die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm, Check-in und Check-out verliefen völlig problemlos. "We were visiting from the US and visiting Colditz Castle. This stop was wonderful with clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations. The water park is a big hit with the locals and visitors alike. Some of the best food we had on our trip. I'd definitely choose to stay again."

"Excellent local hotel in an amazing builing"

"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind. Room was clean, and modern. Lobby was nice. Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot. Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it. Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."
