They did not have my expedia booking and sold my room. Luckily i had access to their lounge and wi fi.
My wife called expedia from South Africa and held for on the phone for close to an hour!!! If you book international, you have to have immediate online help 24/7 via wifi. Writing 2 phone nrs and charges may apply is just rubbing salt in the wound.
Calling you on international roaming is NOT AN OPTION!! That is the quickest way to lose customers.
It is cheaper to book and pay another hotel, than pay int phone calls. If we have a problem; we should reach you ONLINE IMMEDIATELY, you call us back on wifi (not phone,). We do not hold, you call back after you verify and fix the problem.
In short, Willy, Karl's assistant; did not kick me out; asked and cancelled another booking, gave me that clients room. Had to sit on the couch and wait for two hours! Otherwise i would be out on the street, and not bother writing this to you.
I hope you have something to make up for this.
At this stage, i am not booking expedia anymore.
