The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. The only thing there was not a plug for the kitchen sink to wash the dishes so I had to compromise. All in all I enjoyed my room. It is close to transportation. It’s about a half hour walk into town. The grocery store kiwi was a great store and had everything I needed. And very helpful being right beside it.

Overall, my stay was really nice! The facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the social areas were also great. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The only minor downsides were that staff came to clean the rooms while I was still asleep, there wasn’t really a restaurant available, and some roommates were occasionally quite loud in the room. That said, the last point is more about the roommates than the hostel itself. Other than that, Bunk Rode was a really good place to stay.
