The room was clean, and a nice size with a full kitchen and sitting area, as well as a separate bedroom. The person at the front desk was polite and helpful. The view of the lake outside the windows was lovely.

The place is not luxury but fully renovated, very clean and the location is superb. The staff are awesome and very accommodating. Thank you Nicole for all the tips and making stay memorable. All the good reviews I read before booking are all true and accurate. Will return again.

The hotel was right on the lake and had a lovely beach. A great place for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s many winery’s to visit close by. You can make your own meals or there’s a good selection of restaurants near the hotel. I would definitely recommend The Poplars Hotel.

The room was clean, beds were comfy, and staff were welcoming. Unfortunately for us there was a wedding booked for the evening and party goers went well into the early morning hours ending in shouting matches and extensive profanity 🙁 made for a bit of a restless night.

Good location. Have direct access to the lake from property. Room clean with a kitchenette and microwave oven. But it was super noisy and unbearable in the bathroom with loud vent/fan linked to the light switch and not possible to turn it off separately. Also the noise from upstairs room while other guests walking or kids running was really annoying too.

We enjoyed our stay at Poplars Motel. The room was clean and the property was well taken care of. Friendly staff when we checked in. It’s right by the lake where we enjoyed swimming. It’s walking distance to rattlesnake canyon adventure park if you’re looking for family fun.

Our room was nice and clean, recently renovated. The staff were friendly. For a light sleeper the room is a little noisy. There is a pub near by and the food was good. There is not much else around to see other than the water and beach. We enjoyed our overnight stay.
