"The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. "Very pleasant staff, very clean surroundings. Room a little tight. All furniture in room & dining room seemed homemade, and the lighting in dining room (Steam Punk) also seemed to be homemade. Food not great, (chicken comprised of 1 very thin slice (in uniform shape) crumbed & fried."
