On the beach yet walking distance to downtown, the exterior feels a bit like past glory but the bar/restaurant and rooms are renovated and very comfortable.

Really lovely place. 100%. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very nice and clean plus Michelin Style. The rooms were lovely. The sea Views were really nice. Looking forward to an encore soon.

Nice hotel on the sea front with car park and a short walk from the center . Clean and tidy , we had a big spacious room , coffee machine , fridge , safe . Only downside it did not hair air-conditioning though it is an old hotel.

Great location

It was nice to be located right on the beach and we appreciated having beach chairs ready for us in our rooms. The seaside rooms had wonderful views. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with historic feel but a little dated. Nice toiletries. Great to have parking right at the hotel. Easy walking distance to many restaurants.

We choose Thermae Palace Hotel whenever we go to Oostende because it’s at a quiet place, far from the crowd and we get a nice walk along the beach when we go to the center which is not far away. From our room, We always get a nice sea view. Parking is easy and it’s free. Also convenient to take the coast tram. Breakfast offers many choices. The negative point: The bathtub didn’t drain fast and it was not easy to pull up the lever to have the shower. Also, this time one vial of soap has been already used since there was not much left in it. A mistake perhaps? last time we came

Old school style rooms but clean and renewed with very comfortable beds. Fantastic view on the sea and direct access to the beach (no road to cross). Very good breakfast, seated outside with a direct view on the sea and beach.

I spent a night at Thermae Palace with my daughters and granddaughter. The ocean view was spectacular, and the room was spacious and well equipped, including chairs we could take to the beach. Lovely waterside walk from the hotel. We did have to keep an eye on our toddler as the open window was very attractive but represented a potential safety hazard :)

No air conditioning !!! Traditional radiator heating. Not enough power outlets. No telephone in the room, I had to call the front desk with my mobile phone. Good restaurant. Closes at 10 pm. Last order for one course at 8:30 pm. Extra charge for room service : EUR 25 (approx. USD 30) No receipt ticket for luggage left in the hotel luggage storage room. Reception desk staff from OK to excellent, depending on the person on duty.

I liked (a lot): 1. Variety of breakfast buffet way beyond average four star hotels 2. All staff extremely motivated and attentive, providing excellent service at all times 3. Payed parking lot as a fine alternative to typical downtown situation with practically no parking available/free of charge at all. There is room for improvement around: 5. Brasserie Albert apparently not being able to charge checks to your room 4. Room furniture (that appears to be a bit outdated)

Der Blick vom Zimmer auf die Nordsee war wunderschön aber das Hotel ist wirklich sehr in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt dringend eine Restauration. Das Frühstück ist okay allerdings auch nicht hervorragend. Das Reinigungspersonal, das für unser Zimmer zuständig war, war „grottenschlecht“. Es hat in den 4 Tagen, in denen wir hier waren, nicht einmal den Staubsauger benutzt, nicht einmal den Tisch abgewischt und Kronkorken von geöffneten Flaschen weggeräumt. Für ein angebliches 4 Sterne Hotel ist das nicht akzeptabel. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Ostende fahren, wird es mit Sicherheit nicht noch mal das Hotel werden.

Das Hotel war wirklich super und wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Alles ist sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Wir hatten ein großes Vierbett-Zimmer. Schöner Strand direkt am Hotel. Super Lage auch für Ausflüge mit dem Auto. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Het enige positieve aan dit hotel is de ligging direct aan het water en de zee. Voor de rest vonden wij de prijs absoluut niet in verhouding tot wat je ervoor krijgt. De kamer was vies en de service was ver te zoeken. Daarnaast heeft het hotel dringend en drastisch een renovatie nodig. Zowel de kamers als het hotel zelf zijn duidelijk aan vernieuwing toe. Wij hebben ons verblijf als zeer teleurstellend en onaangenaam ervaren. Wij vonden het echt vreselijk en zouden dit hotel absoluut niet aanraden. Voor ons was dit een eenmalig bezoek: wij komen hier niet meer terug.

Hotel mit dem Charme der Goldenen 20er. Zimmer mit Meerblick war grandios. Der Balkon etwas klein, aber noch ausreichend. Sauberkeit war gegeben. Das Zimmer im 3. Stock an sich war modern hergerichtet. Natürlich ist die Anmutung des Gebäudes etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wenn man sich darauf einlässt, gefällt es aber. Der Frühstücksraum gleicht einem Ballsaal mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Mein persönliches Highlight. Frühstück draußen mit Blick auf Strand & Meer. Alles in allem eine positive Erfahrung in recht angenehmer Umgebung.
