"The location is really great, with only 5 min walk to the railway station and a 20 min ride to central Stockholm. The area is nice and calm, apart from some traffic noise. The house and garden are a bit worn, but the friendly and helpful host responded fast and efficient when we pointed out some minor flaws. Check-in as well as check-out was very convenient."

"Positiv: das Haus ist gut gelegen, Bahn und kleiner Laden sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar; auch abends lohnt sich ein Spaziergang an die nahe gelegenen Seen. Der Vermieter antwortet umgehend auf Anfragen. Negativ: zuerst fallen die ungepflegten Außenanlagen auf, die untere Etage ist sehr muffig und man kann nachts die 2 Zimmer unten schlecht lüften, da die Türen gleich Fenster ist. "Everything as expected"

"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm. "Wir hatten ein schönes gemütliches kleines Häuschen am See. Die Ruhe und der Ausblick über den See waren stets atemberaubend. Es steht ein Ruderboot, ein Kanadier und ein SUP zur Nutzung zur Verfügung. Was wir auch auf dem See genutzt haben. (Motorboot hatten wir nicht genutzt). Das Häuschen ist gemütlich und hat in der Küche alle Utenslien. Seifen/Spülmittel sind vorhanden (Toilettenpapier, Geschirrtuch selbst mitbringen). Die Sauna ist toll und die Abkühlung danach im See macht süchtig....

"Ein kleines Haus auf einem wunderbaren Grundstück. Ein herzlicher Empfang durch die direkt neben dem Haus (10m) wohnenden Gastgebern. Funktionale Inneneinrichtung, die in die Jahre gekommen ist. Bei Bett und Couch ist der Begriff „Patina“ nicht mehr anzuwenden. Stark durchgesessen / durchgelegen. Der Fernsehtechnik war nicht in Gang zu bringen, der DVD Player nicht vorhanden.
