Mattress was old, sheets were old--so old or cheap/flimsy in fact, that bottom sheet popped off during the night. Pillow was chunks of stuff in a pillowcase. No nightlight to bathroom. Couldn't sleep, and all this for the very exorbitant price of $300 including taxes. Breakfast was junk food--no whole wheat bread, no decent yogurt, and all paper and plastic. For that price, you should provide dishes.

Our room was on the lowest level. It had access to the outdoor via private door. The room itself was poorly clean. I tried to plug in my phone charger behind the nightstand and got a hand full of cobwebs. The room looked like it hasn't been occupied since 1970s. Musty air and mold on some furniture. Possible due to closeness to the river

The property is old and in need of complete renovation. The vents were full of dust. We were so impressed with the staff. The breakfast was great!! The room was kept clean by some of the best maids we have ever encountered! Renovate and keep the dedicated staff!!!

The staff was very helpful. Donna ran a very tight ship at breakfast. Breakfast was fine, buffet style with disposable plates. If you are veg or vegan, your options are cereal with almond milk or juice, instant oatmeal, and toast. The attached restaurant does have a whole menu section that's gf and veg. Portion sizes were pretty respectable, though the prices were exactly the same as they'd be in NYC. The room was... fine. It''s very worn, and clean-ish. There was a mystery stain on the bed skirt, but the sheets were clean. Carpet was rough. The bathroom needs real work - missing grout and caulk, loose tiles. Great water pressure, though. We were in town for the Ren Faire - this was a very convenient place to stay. It's only about a 20 minute drive. Plus, it's dog friendly! All in all, a fine option.

Initial room we were given smelled so strongly of mildew/mold i had to ask to be moved. The replacement room was better but still had a nasty odor. Mattresses are well worn and the fitted sheets appeared to be one size to small as they slipped off the mattresses with ease, disturbingly we found ourselves waking on mattress pads, disgusting!!! I did request properly fitting sheets the next day that were replaced and that issue was rectified. Unfortunately, the mattresses are worn and outdated. They have an odor/moisture issue they are clearly aware of since they had an extension cord running down the side of the hallway with a residential size dehumidifier plugged in that obviously was already full of water as it was no longer running. We were roomed under a bar and getting a good night's sleep on a Saturday night was near impossible between the sounds of bar stools raking the floor above and the exterior traffic noise. Requested a short extension on our morning checkout Sunday as we our flight was going to be in the evening but were denied. Very unsatisfied, do not recommend.

Before I start this, I’d like to let you know that I already know you’re not gonna respond back to what I write, but I have other ways to let people know exactly how this property is. I was very unsatisfied with this property. First of all they said there was a pool but when we got , the pool is not on the property. You have to walk a block down to best Western to go to the pool they should’ve been told the website so that we would be prepared for that now my biggest issue is I did not like how they put all the blacks on the same floor with the pets. I understand this was a pet hotel but you only had one floor that had all the pets on them and all you could smell was the pets. Also, there was a. Riverview on the property, which was not stated that it was or I would’ve asked for a room for a Riverview, but when we got there. Husband went down to talk to the front desk guy and he told him if he wanted a river review he needs to go to best Western and that his hotel has only five rooms that have the view and it was taken. I know that as a fact that’s being a lie because there’s five floors and one side of it was facing the Riverview so I don’t understand how you only have five rooms when you have five floors And why would you suggest your customer to go to another hotel so that just goes to show he really didn’t want us there so since I’m not wanting, I will never return
