Rooms were delightful and loved the authentic feel of the small hotel. Wonderful central Gion location. When arriving in Kyoto station we went down to the bus station and got the 206 bus ( each time is a flat 230 Japanese Yen or they accept Suica card too , just tap once when you get off the bus stop which Gion is about approx 8-10...

"Luxury hotel overlooking Kyoto. Newly built 12 months ago so everthing was well maintained. Short walk to restaurants. Many close at 8pm due to local rules. We wanted a relaxing place to spend our last few nights after a busy tour of Japan. This hotel was great for that. "
