"We stayed in a Double room (Point of View) at Düsternbrook and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the incredible view at the pool and our room & deck. The staff are all kind, helpful and happy to answer all questions. Whilst driving to the lodge we already spotted heaps of animals like giraffes, warthogs, all kind of birds, baboons, Kudus, springboks etc., so driving slowly pays off. "Heerlijke farm met blije mensen. S Avond dineren bij de waterplaats is super romantisch. Het eten is voortreffelijk, applaus 👏 voor kokkie . Leuke wandeling door de bush waar de sabelantilopen zich in rust zich kunnen voortplanten. Eenmaal groot dan gaan ze buiten in de echte bush, mooi project!!"

"Stay over was amazing; wish we could have stayed over longer. Very good comfortable chalet, very good equipped bedding, kitchenette and bathroom; comfortable porch with 2 chairs with view on the dam with numerous birds. "It's outrageous that Aloegrove has a rating less than 5 stars! If you are driving to Etosha or back from Etosha, stop at Aloegrove, and stay two nights. Aloegrove is a decent drive off the B1, but it is more than worth it. Johan and Ivy have build a marvellous lodge with Comanding views over the surrounding countryside. The luxury suites overlook the Waterberg plateau, and have an unobstructed view from the hilltop that Alloegrove occupies. The rooms have views of the plateau from the bathroom...

"We zijn hier niet geweest. Accommodatie is niet meer beschikbaar voor verhuur. Eigenaar wijst naar VRBO en VRBO naar de eigenaar. Ik heb betaald, maar geen verblijf gehad en ter plekke alternatief kunnen regelen. En nu ik mijn geld terug wil moet ik dat volgens VRBO zelf regelen met de verhuurder, die niet reageert."
