Everything was very clean and well kept. But for the price of the room, i feel breakfast ( at least something small) should be included. This hotel was phenomenal! The staff was friendly and attentive, the hotel itself was absolutely gorgeous, and our room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. We did not eat at the restaurant, but my husband made a comment that the menu looked fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. On-site parking made things a lot easier as well and we were able to quickly walk to Parliament within 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Ottawa for the first time as it is very centrally located if you don't mind a short walk. My kids also loved the saltwater pool!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa July 15th-18th. Overall our stay was good. Parking is a real issue, upon arrival we were told our truck (not lifted) couldn't fit in the garage by the parking attendant. He directed us to the parking lot on the corner, we had to pay 120.00 for 2 days which is absolutely crazy....When we checked in we were then told were we should have parked 2 blocks down. (The cost there would have been 25.00 a day, more responsible) so not sure why we were directed to this one instead...the only other issue was the little flyes in our room, assuming they were coming from the air conditioning. You couldn't put a cup of coffee down or they were in it. Overall, The property is very well maintained (a bit of construction but you didn't even notice it) breakfast buffet was good. Pool and fitness facility was good. Staff was very helpful (Fadel was helpful)

The hotel is located to several amenities. There's a Tim Horton's a few steps away. A grocery store is right across the street. There are many restaurants close by. Many attractions such as Parliament Hill, Royal Canadian Mint, Bank of Canada Museum and Byward Market are within walking distance. We had no problems with our room being cleaned daily.
