"EVERY time I’m in the capital overnight from now on I’m going to check if the Metcalfe has availability. We just stayed one night but experienced wonderful service and hospitality. Luxurious immaculate rooms and a beautiful property all around. Stay here! It’s worth it!"

"This hidden gem was the perfect neighborhood while we settled our daughter into school. It’s within walking distance of UOttawa, and the location couldn’t be better — plenty of amenities and restaurants nearby. The suite itself was a bit dated, but spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and cozy bedding. Staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay, and the included breakfast was a great value for the price. Ten thumbs up — highly recommend!"

"I truly enjoyed my stay at your hotel. The room was very clean and presentable and the bed was folded correctly and very clean white sheets which I truly enjoyed it. Though the next time I come back, I think the room needs a little bit of updating the TV was way too small for this day and age and the bathroom is starting to show its age by paint chipping on the wall by the shower. Other than that, I would definitely go back there again and I do believe parking should be included for guests who are spending the night in the hotel room. The front desk attendant, when I checked in, was very professional and polite very refreshing to see young people serve and take care of their guests. When I checked out in the morning, I receive the same experience with a clear understanding of how my billing would be done. Overall, very enjoyable stay just change or update the room and it would’ve been five stars all across the board. I recommend this hotel anyone the price was actually very reasonable for downtown Ottawa on a Saturday night."
