"This is a beautiful little cottage, perfect if you are looking to get the true feelings of mountain life. It is secluded, you will not see or hear any neighbors or other noise but the birds singing, yet it is close to the main road. We were given directions over the phone by the owners and arrived safely to the cottage. Upon arrival there were fresh cut flowers, a dessert and since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, a bottle of chilled sparkling wine. Everything was very clean and neat, extra attention to detail was shown everywhere. Mountain views from the living room and bedroom, a spectacle of birds feeding and singing in the porch while having our morning coffee on the rocking chairs. Hike right there to the woods and creek behind the cottage. Quiet, beautiful sunset views right from the porch. Internet connection was very good Anyway, it was lovely!! Perfect if you are looking for secluded, quiet, vintage, enjoy nature, hikes, birds watching and swings. "

"We enjoyed the Brasstown Valley Resort. The views and sunsets were stunning and the staff was friendly and helpful. The cottage was nice and clean, however the walls were too thin. Our neighbors could be heard clearly through our shared wall and they woke my husband up with the slamming of doors. That was our only disappointment. Next time we may want to stay in the Lodge?"

"The room was spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable. The gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly, and he provided us with recommendations for eating (Marina Station) and visiting (Bell Mountain). Both were excellent recommendations. "

"All employees were super friendly, views of the lake were gorgeous from the balcony, great coziness in the lobby area where we played games & chatted with friends. Keep in mind that this is an older hotel that will not have a lot of the fancy extras. Convenient to the Anderson Music Hall for a concert we attended and there is a BBQ restaurant very close by."

"The Dilliard House is a beautiful place in a quiet location. There was a bonfire on Saturday night with free s'mores kits. There's rocking chairs on the patio of each room. The room was nice and cozy. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't open yet, and there was some construction. This would be a great place for a retreat or a reunion."
