"Difficult to find and although traditional rather dated. Only a shower head over a bath. WiFi was non existent in the first room allocated and it took some firmness to move to a more suitable room very scenic lication"

"Great place! Very clean and well decorated. Had everything we needed for a family of 6 including kitchen. Easy communication with host. Would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for an alpine location, this is it. Quiet location above Sautens with great views and balconies to relax and drink coffee. Thanks for the family memories. "

"Amazing owner/manager, cares about the guests, provides information and is eager for talks. Showers and toilets could be cleaned better. Jacuzzi is ready for use quite late, but is an amazing addition! Beds in Cabins are rather short, for sure not for someone 186cm . Overally very good and pleasant experience "

"We really enjoyed our stay and loved the red light sauna in our room after many days of skiing. This location is 40 mins away from Sölden, Innsbruck, and many more lifts and the drive is pleasant. Looking forward to staying again for our next Austrian Alps ski trip "

"Its a 3star hotel that does not pretend to be anything else. Room was basic. A bit short staffed so the reception person was doing multiple jobs. Decor is dated but gives it character. There was no shower gel in the shower but the staff went out of their way to help and got me some. Really great service from staff, they all try and ensure that the guests are looked after. Great location. I would definitely return. "

"You can’t beat the location, we were on foot and the public transport options were still great to get in and around the valley. Staff were all lovely and very helpful (the owner very kindly offered to take us to the local station on our last day)."

"Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. The furnishings looked to be very fancy in the 1930's, part of it's charm. Everything was very clean, though feather pillows need a little more stuffing. Loved the balcony for every room. Also, we loved the Weisbeer at the restaurant and the man running the hotel and resteraunt was nice. The pictures for the resort spa may be a bit outdated too. Spa seemed deserted and inactive. All in all not worth the expensive price tag. Same price as the Goldene Rose in Lechaschau which was no comparison."
