"Excellent location. Plenty of restaurants coffee shops, and pastry shops to choose from. Taxis are not allowed on their street so they have to drop you off a block and a half from the property which seems pretty typical in Amsterdam.. it seemed to be overly loud at night about bar closing time and we heard a lot of noise from that at night and it seemed like the garbage trucks and sweepers loved to start up at 7:30 in the morning and you could hear them in the alley making quite a bit of racket. "

"Location is brilliant and staff were very helpful, however the place itself is a let down. It definitely needs renovation, there mould in the shower, all the doors and walls are marked/scratched. There's not such basic things as hand soap in the bathroom. Sink is so tiny you can't wash your face without water going everywhere. There are a lot of random sounds from other rooms, air-conditioning makes some weird bubbling noise. Glad I had earplugs with me. Bed was comfortable. But bedding itself, as well as towels, were clean but very worn. Most expensive room per square metre too, I believe. There's barely any space to move and the only way to open your suitcase is if you put it on your bed, which is far from ideal. Wouldn't stay there again."
