"Courtyard rooms have minimal windows being an older building but not an issue, nice roof terrace with a small pool, good facilities at sister hotel too. Good location with 5-10 minute walk to centre of Valletta and bars / restaurants. Staff very helpful and attentive. Breakfast fairly standard but all good."

"We loved the space and the location. The room was very spacious and we liked that there were only two rooms on our floor. The rooftop space had a beautiful view of the harbour. The room was well appointed with many nice toiletries and the kitchen had everything we needed. We missed having an outlet in the bathroom for hair applicances. We also didn’t understand the bathroom mirror, it was dark and possibly was once a mirror with built in tv. There was a red light but the mirror itself was very dark and not usable. We would stay here again."

"The hotel and rooms are beautiful. If you enjoy a hot tub, I recommend getting a room with one. We had a large patio with a tub. The staff were great and the breakfast is very good. It’s also in a great area. Very quiet, but just a block or two away from the action of Valletta."

"We had an inner room and for a busy city centre location it was SO quiet. The room and bed were comfortable, fridge and coffee maker, iron + board all provided. The 5th floor roof terrace for breakfast and complimentary snacks 6-8pm was lovely, we were disappointed we couldn’t access at other times. Staff very friendly and helpful, bus info, advice on trips etc. The breakfast included local dishes as well as cereal, fruit, eggs etc. Only downside no “ordinary” / non Maltese fresh coffee (not instant) available."

"The hotel is in a great location, quiet but close to the main town.The taxi had to drop us in the nearby street, but that wasn’t a problem. It was an easy walk to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where the lift takes you down to the ferry stops for the 3 cities and Gozo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was efficient and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The area where it is served can be a bit crowded, but did not cause us any problems."
