"Great host, very accommodating. Although rustic the accommodation was really well equipped. Enjoyed the games room and the lakeside beach. We didn’t get time to use the kayaks, but they were available to use. Enjoyed the boulle’s and amazing views and it’s a great place to get off the beaten track. It is reached by a long and bumpy road, it’s well worth it to relax."

"The windmill and annex building were great. The walled courtyard was really nice. I was not thrilled with the town itself but this being just outside of town made the stay very enjoyable. The host was very easy to communicate with and seemed really nice. If I were to stay in the area again I would stay here. Very enjoyable!"

"We had a brilliant time. The property was clean and spacious. The pool was fantastic - enjoyed by children and adults alike. There was room for people to have their own space as well as lots of different social spaces. Silves was close enough and had a range of places to eat as well as things to look at. It all had a great feel. A car is necessary to see Portimao - can recommend the boat trip. All in all, we'd recommend and would think of doing it again."

"The house is lovely, perfect for a week long break. There were six of us staying, and the combination of house and separate maisonette worked perfectly. The large outdoor space was perfect for relaxed dining, and the small pool worked well for cooling off.
