"Lovely area. Very scenic. Very old buildings so the decor reflects this, although nice modern bathroom & well-equiped kitchen. I enjoyed the pool - small but lovely & warm. Would stay here again."

"Bramble was a lovely cottage for the 5 of us, very comfortable beds and quality fixtures in the bathrooms. Having the pool on site was great (although it does need a little maintenance). Overall great stay, hoping to come again."

"Great location within both Bakewell itself and also the Peak District. Cosy room and great food, well wort a visit"

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"Beautiful location, wonderful property, delicious food, breakfast included, complimentary packed lunch and more....highly recommended."

"The Fischers have provided a beautiful country manor and gardens for the use of guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious."

"Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub"

"Comfortable room, friendly staff. Had pleasant meal one night, and enjoyed cooked breakfast. Spent few hours in pub lounge, great atmosphere. Small point, we were in room 9 which was noisy at night due to extractor fan out side. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."

"Perfect in every way."
