2 bedroom, 2 full bath, 750 Sq. foot private home in the midst of the Finger Lakes Wine Region. Interior completely updated and fully furnished with one queen bed and one full bed. A/C in both bedrooms. Love seat couch and oversized barrel chair. Fully functional kitchen with all tools needed for cooking. Please no pets and no smoking. Our address is 1874 W Blaine Road, Ovid NY 14521.

Escape from PA

We wanted to have a relaxing fun weekend to enjoy Wineries, a hike to see the Falls and we even did a few laps on the Racetrack! A hugh benefit was renting this adorable, rustic retreat. The location was perfect and we found a quaint diner for morning breakfast 😋. Definitely will rent again!! Thanks Bob for this great place to rent.

Perfect Fingerlakes getaway

This is the perfect property for a weekend getaway to the Fingerlakes. The house was extremely clean and well-appointed, with a great layout for two couples. The outdoor porches, both front and back, were lovely for relaxing, with the sounds of spring peepers from the pond out back. Very conveniently located between the Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake Wine Trails. Thank you so much!

Friends getaway

We have been trying to do a friends finger lakes trip for years and finally got to do it. This was the perfect house for our stay! Close enough to everything, but away from all the hustle and bustle! After a day out, it was great to come back and just relax with a glass (or two) of wine on the porch and enjoy each others company! So peaceful here and the place worked great for two couples! Will definitely be back again!

Pennsylvania wine lovers

The property was awesome for our two couple group. We love the fingerlakes and spend a lot of time here. So much nicer( and cheaper) than staying at a hotel. The house was cute and cozy. Nice porches for hanging out. We were tasting Saturday and Sunday, it’s a perfect location. We will be back. The home owner was very easy and available to communicate with.

This property and home is well stocked with essentials. Very comfortably furnished. And, the quietest accommodation you're likely to ever find. Short drive to the many excellent wineries and restaurants. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Idyllic location

Beautiful spot halfway between Seneca Falls and Watkins Glen. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place.The owner was super accommodating and answered all my (sometimes silly) questions. After a long, hot day of walking around wine country, sitting on the porch for a sunset and bird-watching was lovely. The only suggestion I have would be, bring your own chair or chair cushions. Terrific stay!

Excellent countryside rental

We had a great stay, eventhough the weather wasn’t super conducive to our plans for the weekend. The house was perfect size for 2-4 guests. Very clean, rental process and communication was a breeze, house is located in a very quiet location surrounded by fields. Locations is convenient with a 20 min or so drive to Seneca and Cayuga Lake. I would definitely rent again!

FAB! In the Finger Lakes

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary! This was our first Verbo experience and it was amazing!! Location is perfect!! It’s an easy ride to several destinations. Property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful farm house in the heart of Seneca County

A wonderful and cozy little house, all on one level, with two bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, featuring firm foam mattresses. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, including a gas stove, microwave, Keurig machine, and plenty of cutlery, dishes, pots, and pans. Now, some advice for fellow city dwellers like myself who might be new to staying in a farmhouse with well water: I recommend bringing your own water for the coffee machine and for drinking. The well water had a distinct fishy odor. The Keurig needed a couple of full rinses, using about a half gallon of water, to clear out the fishy smell. While I’m sure the water was safe to drink, it wasn’t to my liking. Additionally, during this time of year, the Asiatic ladybugs were eager to get inside. They found a small crack in the window to enter the back guest bedroom. Of all the potential bugs you might encounter in a home, these are harmless but can be annoying. Thankfully, there was a vacuum on hand to deal with them. All in all, it’s a super lovely farmhouse, and I highly recommend it. My comments are just suggestions for those used to city water and fewer critters to ensure they have the best experience possible.

Rustic and cute

It fit our needs for touring wine country. All of our basic needs were met. It is handicapped accesible. Sink is quite low for washing dishes. Porches are inviting on both front and back.

Beautiful property, inside and out. Felt like ‘home away from home’ right away. Loved the porches. Well-stocked with essentials. Very neat, clean and uncluttered. Located fairly close to anything you’d be interested in exploring. Definitely well worth the visit.

Great Stay

Cute cottage with everything we needed. Great quiet location with beautiful farm view off the back porch. Host was very communicative and responsive. Nice to have each bedroom/bathroom on opposite sides for privacy. Would definitely stay again.
