"The hosts were very easy to work with, and the house was in great condition. Very nicely decorated, modern, had all the necessities. The neighborhood--the street and nearby commercial district--are definitely in transition and not ideal for walking. We felt uncomfortable taking our dogs out, even as people who have lived in NYC/Chicago during the 80s :-). While it might feel different to people who are from the area or live on the street, it's a hard place to land for visitors."

"Rented this cottage for a Memorial Day weekend. Started trying to contact the host on Thur before we checked in on Fri as far as arrival process, etc. Attempted to contact her through vrbo, text and phone with zero response. Finally contacted vrbo who recommended they cancel the reservation and refund my money. Apparently this is not the first time with this host so my advice is to not waste your time and money just to have your holiday weekend ruined. Run far from this listing."
