We felt welcome at Ethos hotel. Breakfast was excellent, the location good for a walk to the city center. Only parking was very expensive, but that is generally so in Oxford.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean and wonderfully cool, tea and coffee making facilities plus a fridge are always a bonus! Ten minute walk to the centre, and very quiet area which mostly has family homes surrounding so felt very calm and safe. Would happily stay again :)

This hotel is tucked in a quiet neighborhood in Oxford, close to walking to city center. Rooms are in a few different buildings (former flats, I am assuming), so not a traditional type of hotel.

Small boutique hotel, very friendly and well-run. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff also very diligent and professional. Close to everything in Oxford but on a fairly quiet side street without much traffic noise. Great experience!

Very nice. Ac was not up to par for a warm day. Not easy with luggage and checking in at the cafe and then staying across the road. Parking is very limited. Breakfast was nice. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The room is large and well-maintained. Although there is no air conditioning in the unit we had, it was still very comfortable to stay there in the height of the summer. The breakfast at the cafe is excellent, with a variety of choices.

While not brand new, I think this was my favorite hotel of the whole stay in the UK. It was close to the hub of Oxford, but on a side street that was nice and quiet. The room was spacious, and there was air conditioning, a fridge, and a tub. Couldn't have asked for better during our stay in Oxford!

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Parking was a bit difficult as there was very limited space to manoeuvre due to the tight residential area in which the hotel is situated. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom door was not fitted properly (hanging off the top hinge) and didn't close. The hall and stair cases in the building where our room was located were in need of a good clean although it did have a new stair carpet. The exposed wiring to the fire alarm outside our room was not very professionally completed. Having said all that we had an enjoyable stay and found it very convenient for walking into the city centre each day so luckily we did not need to move our cars until we left.

This is a little hotel made from some houses so there isn't a lobby or lifts. But my room was spacious and had everything I needed (little mini kitchen in the corner too!). The breakfast was excellent. We hung in the dining room at the end our our day with some drinks chatting with other guests and the bartender which was really nice. This was our favorite place to stay on this trip.
