A very pleasant and convenient base on the eastern side of Oxford, with excellent road access via the A40 and the ring road. Private parking and very welcoming staff.

The ground floor room was comfortable and adequate for our two night stay. There was some traffic noise from the busy main road, but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop where there are frequent buses into the city centre.

The guest house was very comfortable. The owners have obviously gone to a lot of trouble to provide their customers with a host of information about the local area and its attractions. Freshly laundered linen, a clean ensuite with wonderfully hot water and a breakfast cooked to order, all contributed to a comfortable overnight stay. Parking at the rear of the house also contributed to a stress free stay.

Room wasn't what I was expecting- I thought I had booked a larger, more updated room. It was okay but not what I pictured. It was clean and big enough for us but needs to be upgraded. Staff had limited hours and I was leaving very early- I tried calling and texting a number they listed but no response- luckily my daughter could hand in the key. Front desk only greeted when we arrived. Would've been nice if he was friendlier. Shower was always hot (tried to get them to fix it but he couldn't do it) and bring your own shampoos and body wash (I accidentally forgot mine) - what they had was in my opinion a cheap shampoo and body wash. Room was clean with someone cleaning it everyday- but didn't like them putting a decorative pillow on the pillows I slept with as it's probably thrown on the ground all the time. But location was good for the bus into Oxford, bus from London and bus back to Heathrow. Overall an okay place to stay in Oxford.

Our room was cosy but comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the free parking a bonus. The bus was at the door which made it very convenient going in and out of the Oxford City Centre.
