    Mandalay Bay in Oxnard is a charming waterfront neighborhood that could make any travel aficionado do a happy dance. Located in Ventura County, Channel Islands Harbor, this home on the waterways is slightly of the main channel to offer quiet and privacy, while allowing you to view the action in the harbor.

    Our Beach View Representative will roll out the welcome mat. They will guide you through the check-in process, walk you through the property and introduce you to all the amenities it has to offer you. They will also answer any questions you may have. Trust us, they're as friendly as the city itself!

    This is a 2 story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with deck and private dock.
    Ground floor: Dining room with table that seats 6, living room, conversation area with gas fireplace and view of the harbor. Kitchen is fully stocked and looks out onto the deck.
    Deck: Outside table the seats 6-8, gas BBQ and lounge seating over looking the water of the Channel Islands.
    Top floor: All 3 bedrooms are upstairs. First bedroom has 2 twin beds with television. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a queen. The primary bedroom has a king bed with en-suite/bathroom, with private balcony.

    Personal or rental car is best. Harbor View offers parking for 3 cars. Public transit is limited. Easy access to private transport companies like Uber, Lyft, and Taxi.

Wonderful Stay on the Marina

We had a great trip at this rental. The place is clean and comfortable, and all as advertised. Communication and check in were smooth. We really enjoyed the views from the house and deck. We would definitely return!

Comfortable Home in a Gorgeous Setting

Quick and easy check in process. Very welcoming and accommodating property managers. Comfortable home with plenty of useful amenities. Lovely location for relaxing, but convenient to stores and restaurants (some within walking distance). We truly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely visit again.

Amazing Location

The location of this property cannot be beat. We loved the dock and sat out on the deck every morning and afternoon. It's a super cute area - feels like Newport but maybe a little less fancy. Walking distance to beach. The kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances. The window treatments and bedroom furniture as well as the bathrooms could be updated but for the price we felt like it was a good value.

Amazing property, great location

This property is well worth it! Great location - close to some nice restaurants and other sites. Close to the beach (we walked every morning for the sunrise), and great out of the way from the city, with quick access!

Great getaway

Very nice and cozy house right on the water in Oxnard. A five minute walk to the beach or Hollywood Beach retail and restaurants. Very clean, quiet and well laid out. Really enjoyed the stay and I wish I could stay longer.

Beautiful and relaxing

Very nice property with large deck for morning coffee and evening drinks. Loved the wet bar room. We played cards and watched the boats go by in there every night. Great kitchen.

An oasis of calm

We had such a beautiful couple of days staying riverside. So gorgeous to sit out on the deck first thing and gently watch the world go by. A really excellent start to our Cali vacation. The very spacious house had everything we needed and Dawn was super helpful with the booking and all our enquiries.

Oxnard Getaway

Travel from Seattle to visit college kids and scope out the neighborhoods for future investment. Loved the home and neighborhood. Used the kayaks and rented an electric boat. Nice dinners out. Great walks on the beach. Nice stay!

Just As Advertised

We visited the area for a three night stay-cation. The property was perfect for our needs although too big for just the two of us. Easily sleeps (8) with a spacious living area. Very close to numerous restaurants and other activities. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed having our morning coffee each morning on the master bedroom patio watching the paddle boarders. Would recommend for sure.

Mothers Day Relaxation Weekend

Perfect place to stay for a long weekend. The home is exactly as described and our Host responded to questions about the rental right away. All the neighbors are nice. The walk to the beach was an easy 5 to 10 min. I was inspired to walk 6 miles along the beach and back at the house took a nap on the patio!🙂 I will be looking forward to the next time. Thank you for making my first Vrbo experience a good one.

Pleasantly Accurate

We were thrilled to see that everything was exactly as depicted. The layout and room sizes were spot on. The kitchen was completely stocked with plenty of cooking and serving items that made feeding a group so easy. Everything was in working order and very clean. Dawn answered any questions we had when we arrived. We made many great memories and are already planning to return.

Beautiful harbor front home, but was HOT

This home was beautiful and spacious, however there wasn't an indication on the listing that it does not come with A/C. I have hyperhidrosis, so staying cool is very important for my well-being. Unfortunately, we booked this rental on a weekend that was in the mid-70s (and in the 90s inland). Since the house doesn't have any A/C or ceiling fans, even though the outside temperature was in the mid 70s, the inside was in the 80s. All of us were sweating and struggling to stay cool. The property manager was eventually able to bring several floor fans which helped as long as it was blowing directly on us. I would recommend this property only if the outside temperature is in the low 70s...which is most of the time in this area. Another thing that I found a bit disconcerting was the Saturday morning Trump boat rally. There were several dozens of boats honking their horns going up and down the harbor, which made it dangerous for me and my family to kayak in the harbor. I'm going to assume that this isn't a weekly occurrence, but the rally goers were quite loud (honking horns), but also said some very nasty chants (that I had to explain to my kids afterwards). Not an ideal Saturday, but by around 4pm, most of the parade died down and we were able to kayak safely around the harbor. Again, this home is beautiful and located in a great area on the harbor, but I would think twice about renting again if 1.) it's above 70 outside and if 2.) there wasn't a political rally going on during the weekend.
