"When I got there I realized i had picked the wrong wing, i told the staff behind the desk of my moms problems and they found a suitable room for us in a quick, professional, and efficient manner. The East wing doesnt have an elevator, only the West wing does. Everyone was so friendly and understanding. Checkout after 2 nights stay was great and when I forgot some stuff in the room they let me back in to obtain it. They do charge $50 deposit temporarily ontop of the room fee but you get it back on your card within a week after your stay is over (unless you charged stuff to your room, then it is less back). The view was amazing. The distillery taste testing was a great experience (I recommend the Rhubarb Elder flower Liquor). The heated pool was nice, it only goes down to 4½ft though. If you want a great place to eat for your dollar then i recommend The Breakfast Club for breakfast, El Compadre for Mexican food for lunch, and The Lost Roo for dinner. The Breakfast Club and El Compadre have separate burners for seafood and shellfish so if you are allergic then these are the two places to go. The Lost Roo has mixed burners though so i couldnt eat there, but when i asked the people there were upfront and honest about it. They were very accommodating when it came to my mom's health issues too. Overall the stay and experience was one of the best i have ever had. "

"This motel is only a few years old and the rooms have been done up nicely. Super clean, comfortable beds, mini fridge, small coffeemaker, tv with streaming capabilities, bathroom with the sample size hygiene supplies, hairdryer, condiments and water bottles for your coffee, tv screen fireplace with heater plus an extra wall heater. I didn’t care for the geometric shapes on the wall as decor but that is just personal aesthetic preference and found out later that they help with soundproofing. Pizzas are great at the saloon which is located just feet away. Staffing at both places are so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the town, shopping and dining. Short drive to the beach to watch the sunset. Great place to stay for our quick weekend getaway. We would definitely stay there again. Also it’s pet friendly 😊"

"We got one of the renovated rooms and it was beautiful and comfortable. The living room furntiure was definitely more for style than comfort but luckily we weren't there much. They need longer shower curtains. The curtain didn't cover the edge of the bath so we had to mop up tons of water after each shower."
