"The host was amazing. Friendly, generous and genuinely happy to have us stay. The location of the small village of only Japanese people was amazing. Google Translate, a smile and patience was required to communicate with the locals who were all very welcoming. It was very authentic ryokan. "

"Basic, small, inexpensive hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, good location. No onsite parking, no elevator, shared bathrooms and showers. Comfortable."
