"My husband and I are locals to the area. We needed more space for us and some out of town close friends. It happened to snow while we were at the VRBO. It was beautiful. I will say that you will need to plan accordingly vehicle wise if you stay during the winter. Luckily we have 4 wheel drive SUVs. If you go down to the lake, watch your step carefully - the wood frame that holds the gravel together is rotting and I took a tumble. But the home is a treat and the arrangement of everything is lovely. "
