I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Antigua. A few hundred yards from the famous Antigua Arch, the staff was above and beyond expectations 24/7. They found us a Mayan tour guide for the city walk and the next day out to the Iximché Ruins, we saw an actual Mayan ritual by people doing their way if life - ie not a show for tourists. There weren’t any there. Back at Hotel Rafael, Ray and his partner built a little piece of perfection from excellent breakfasts, indoor ponds, and...

A perfect little spot for our two day getaway. Ac worked perfectly, the staff was friendly, the pool the perfect little spot to cool down and the beda confy (pillows a bit stiff for my taste, but survived). I liked the convenience of orsering drinks and breakfast from there and then we'd walk to town for lunch and dinner. Maybe a 10 minute walk on the beach from Cocori. Would definitely stay here again.

The moment you get to the property and walk around, you feel vacation, relaxation and I don’t want to go anywhere. The food was amazing prepared by chef Ruth.

The hotel is excellent, safe , swimming in the beach is not safe but swimming pools are in the property you can walk through the beach ,food is excellent and service beyond my expectations very professional and honestly, I forgot my phone charged and the office called me to go back and get it I was very happy. I will recommend to all my friends .

Tuvimos una experiencia muy buena. Las instalaciones son bonitas y amplias, el parqueo es amplio y hay un espacio techado. En su mayoría todo estaba limpio, hay aspectos de limpieza por mejorar como las duchas y el parqueo techado, pero en general es un espacio que tiene todo lo que uno busca para descansar y relajarse. No almorzamos en el lugar, pero los desayunos no solo son incluidos, sino que también son buenos. Los precios de bebidas y almuerzos nos son baratos, pero tampoco tan inflados,...
