"The hotel was in a very conveniently located area, many restaurants, coffee shops, gym. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The only thing I can say that I didn’t like was that our last night was horrible the room above us was very loud til late past 1am ."

"Unfortunate that we visited when hurricane simon was near which caused the hotel to be locked down for 1 day due to it. However, still had a pleasant time. All inclusive, food was decent and the drinks never stopped except when there was an alcohol ban during the lock down."

Hotel Tropicana - Near Olas Altas Street

"We only stayed one night in Puerto Vallarta before heading to Nuevo Vallarta. The Tropicana was nice, we booked a superior room withe pool view but to our surprise was also a partial ocean view. We did not use the pool since it was raining that evening. We look forward to staying there again for a longer stay in the future since we loved how close the hotel is to the ocean."

"Awesome property and being up in the hills and the jungle, it definitely has a different vibe than some of the other resorts around PV along the coast. It’s very close to Bucerías, but is a bit of a hike from PV (about 40mins). Feels much more immersive with nature. Only downside is it’s a huge resort and a lot of walking, unless you wait for the shuttles, which do some pretty frequently. Staff are friendly and helpful, would stay here again!"

"It’s was a good hotel … pros: nice rooms, confortable beds, high water pressure (hot n cold ) Cons: “no food or drinks from outside in rooms “ 18 DLL deposit for pool towels, smelly sheets blankets (humidity) :( ….. besides everything nice personal attention (staff) . Definitely I’ll come back again Acapulco HOTSSON hotel ! :)"

"It was a really beautiful resort in a really beautiful area. I think it lacks information on restaurants and entertainment. I found as a foreigner it was better accustomed to the locals. Which is nice to see but I have been at far cheaper resorts with much better entertainment."
