"If I could give more then 5 stars I would!
This place was 10/10 - such a beautiful resort and the staff as so lovely and helpful!
Will definitely be back :)"
"Love the natural ambience of the villa. Staffs were very helpful and courteous. Room was big, spacious and clean. Provided clean drinking water in the room and also a water filtration system outside the room. Water pressure and heater was good. Bathtub so big that my wife, son and I could fit in it. Love the view from our porch as it was facing the sea. The beach was not suitable for swimming but we saw a lot of animal during our morning walk like mud skippers, hermit crabs and even a peanut worm. Lots of power points also in the room. Love the swimming pool that is overlooking the beach and open blue skies. Nothing much outside the hotel for food or convenience stores but easy to travel and get food using the GRAB app.
Could do a bit better in the toilet as the water in the shower was not draining well in our room. And also no toothbrush were provided."

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was great and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful place and being on a quiet bay really added to the experience. The staff were all so kind and polite. It's in a great location as well for easily going out to explore the island if you take a taxi.
I'm a vegetarian and managed to find enough to eat across the week for all our meals, though some of the labelling/ingredients were confusing but when I raised this the staff were always happy to talk and help.
June is more of a quiet season and we did get a rain storm at some point almost every day, but we like the quieter feel and didn't mind the storms."
"Rainforest immersion as well as excellent beachfront and private bay
Variety and excellence in food
Excellant staff + Service
Upkeep is a battle due to the wonderful 'Materiality' ....yet this keeps the charm of natural materials and a low key aura which is in keeping with the resorts concepts"
"We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Burau Bay Resort. Hotel staffs are super attentive and friendly. It’s extremely healing to take a morning walk at the grand lawn and the beach. Thank you for the hospitality!"
"Excellent. Absolutely lives up to its 5 star reputation.
Service interactions were all welcoming, pleasant and accommodating to our needs.
Our room was perfection. Balcony was pleasant, there is plenty of comfortable seating choices in the room. The bathroom is a highlight. Housekeeping service was impeccable, right down to a lovely bubble bath, strewn with rose petals, they prepared on two occasions. Diptyque products.
Food at all the venues, particularly the breakfast buffet, was excellent.
Spa services were very good and the spa setting is stunning.
Grounds and landscaping are well maintained. There are some lovely garden walks to enjoy. The onsite gym is nice and was reasonably busy on the days that I used it. Beach is well groomed. We were unable to enter the water the few days that we were there due to warning flags.
Pools were nice enough. The adult pool was closed for maintenance during our visit, an alternative pool was offered at one of the beachfront villas, but we did not use it. The family pool was busy with children, as expected. There was not much shade cover to be had at the adult pool and it would have been extremely hot baking the sun (hopefully they are addressing that with the renovations)
Of note, the resort is on a very hilly slope. Our 3 story building didn’t have an elevator. There are plenty of golf carts available to take you where you need to go. If accessibility is an issue for you this could be a hindrance.
Outstanding property."
"I loved this place. It was fantastic and very clean. They have a seven eleven right beside the hotel that is open 24/7. Have a lot of vegetarian option for breakfast. Staff is very polite and nice. Honestly amazing place. Also it’s like 5 minutes from the airport so anyone coming for one or two nights should stay here. It’s in close vicinity to all restaurant and other tourist things on the island."
"Great hotel in Kuah. We booked this hotel after a bad experience at another hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was just amazing. Nice spacious room with a view of the pool. There are plenty of shops and food places near by however it is far from the beach."
