We had a massage as well and so glad we did. Completely relaxing and rejuvenating. The attached restaurant had very good food as well. We ate there both nights of our stay. "

"The staff were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and spotless. Bathroom even had heating. Breakfast was included and there was a great choice. Serene location but a few minutes to the centro storico of Montalcino. Would recommend this accommodation to anybody visiting Tuscany."

"It’s a lovely hotel. Reception was nice and the room very clean with an incredible view out the window of the valley behind. No balcony but a Juliet railing with large opening windows. The breakfast buffet was excellent, self serve with exception of coffee which was served by a very pleasant waiter. Parking is a bit of challenge in a steeply sloped narrow driveway beside the hotel.Take the time to line up the car to go straight through the narrow gate and you’ll be fine. Also very nice sitting area beside the restaurant. "

We felt as if we stepped back in time and were reminded of what outstanding service and accommodations should be like ~ a much needed respite after a busy week in Florence. "Good location, close to the town and beaches. Cleaning wise was good but lacking customer service. If you are not italian they won’t even try to welcome you or offer information if you need it. Breakfast is very limited and repetitive , not much choice. Same pastries, cakes, fruits every day. I would stay maximum 2 days to enjoy the swimming pool but 1 week was way too long at this hotel."

"Beautiful property and great service. Was a little disappointed they charge double the price for wine they make in their back yard then I pay here in Montreal."
