"The location of this house is great if you want get away from the holiday crowds in Greece. Yet it is only 5 minutes drive to a very pleasant low key sandy beach with two seaside restaurants and a lovely byzantine church on the waterfront. There is a small mini market and restaurant in Skoutari a few ks away but best to get supplies in one of the bigger towns like Gythieo or Sparta. "What an amazing place. As soon as we turned up to the property we knew it was something special. The best thing is the breathtaking views of the mountains/sea and the numerous outdoor areas to sit and enjoy them. The villa was large and well equipped. It was clean and the attention to detail was excellent. Although being secluded the villa was close to nice towns and villages as well as restaurants and beaches however, a car is obviously needed. I wish we would have stayed longer. "
