New Rental: Convenient, A/C, Hot Tub, Close to everything, Pet friendly!

Perfect vacation home. Spacious square log home, comfortable furniture, great kitchen, fabulous views, air conditioning, and close to dining and shopping.

This 2 story home has it all. You enter on the main floor with a great room with views, cozy furniture, gas fireplace and TV. This room is open to the dining area and the well stocked kitchen. You can get out to the back yard from the dining room where you will find the hot tub. The laundry room and 1 car garage are adjacent to the kitchen. There is a powder room near the entry. You will also find the king bed master suite on the first floor.

Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms. One with a king bed and the other with a trundle bed with a full on top and a twin on the bottom. Both access a common full bathroom. There is also a nice office room, sitting room that overlooks the living room and also a large media / play room for the kids to hang out.

This is a new home but will not disappoint. From this home you can walk to a number of restaurants and shops or get on your bicycle and enjoy the many miles of our bike path. There is also plenty of room for your cars to be off the street.

ALL TRAILERS, RV'S, CAMPERS OR OTHER RECREATION VEHICLES MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO BE ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

******Some outside pictures do show a fire pit, however, it is NOT allowed to be used per county regulations. There could be a fine if used of up to $1,000.

This home is now pet friendly. There is a 75.00 pet fee per dog along with a refundable 100.00 pet deposit per dog. There is a 2 dog maximum unless otherwise authorized.

Spring break

We came for my kids spring break. The house was lovely and very clean. We all enjoyed the movie room. My kids thought it was really cool. We also likeed that it was pet friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect house for a large group

The house was well equipped and super comfortable for our group of 8. We loved hanging in the hot tub and soaking up the views from the living room. The beds were comfy and everyone had a great time!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Relaxing Bear! The home was amazingly spacious and comfortable. Loved the media room upstairs, so cozy! The only thing that wasn’t great was the hot tub, it needs to be maintained better-doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned for a while. Would give all 5 stars for everything if this had been clean. Would definitely stay again when we’re back for another ski trip!

My husband and I were introducing Pagosa Springs to our friends. This house was awesome. Was close by everything but made you feel secluded. the views of the mountains where spectacular and we enjoyed the hot tub. All communications where great with Lori and we will definitely come back again.

Second, because its a place you never want to leave. Great ambiance; spent each morning in the hot tub, each afternoon relaxing in the great room, and each night in the super cute movie room. The house is perfect for larger groups, you have space to get some peace but there is also plenty of room for everyone to relax together. Bonus is the movie room! The kitchen has everything you could possible need. Perfect location, with plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We loved walking the dogs to Higher Grounds for coffee and breakfast in the morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. In fact, we are looking to return for some snow!

The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own spaced if needed and the movie room is great for binge watching whatever series you like!A previous review stated that the hot water system is an "on demand" type system, that took a little getting used to but no issues with it and the master bath tub does have a pretty big step to get in and out, again not an issue for us.Having garage access for our vehicle was great on check out day when Pagosa got 11" of snow, we packed up the car inside the garage, no brushing off snow, and checked out with ease.Absolutely would book it again!

September Pagosa Springs

We loved the location of the property. Great walking paths. We loved watching the football games in the great TV room upstairs. Great views from the living room and dining room. If you have accessibility problems I would be caution of the master bathroom. You need a steep stool to get in and out of the shower. And the walk way down to the fire pit can be tricky if you are up in age. The house needs a deep cleaning inside and outside. Be aware that the hot water shutdown as well. It’s an on demand hot water systems. It appeared to be a known problem because there was instructions on the unit on how to fix it. We did address all our concerns with VIP. With several follow ups we finally did get a response.

The house was beautiful but had significant challenges with the heat and water not being fully functional when we arrived. However, the overall stay was good. The management company was very quick to try to address the issues as fast as they could. Lori was terrific at responding day and night due to the unique challenges. So, based on how they handled the situation, we give it a 5. The home is beautiful (even better than the photos) and in a great location near grocery and some restaurants. The homeowners have done a great job decorating and making sure the kitchen appliances and cookware were perfect to allow meal making easy and enjoyable The TV room upstairs is HUGE and the kids loved watching movies after skiing. One recommendation - the heating element for the dryer does not work properly - it took 1.5 hours to dry a very small load of ski clothes which was crazy and extremely frustrating. Many thanks to Lori for her efforts.
