"What a wonderful week!The house is fabulous, the photos do not do it justice. Great space inside with fabulous views.The outside area and pool are perfect, we were a group of 11 adults and all had an amazing time.Tamariu beach is lovely and walkable although quite steep home. The area is beautiful with lots of lovely coves for swimming and snorkelling. Thank you Raul for all of your recommendations, we would love to return."

"We really enjoyed our 2-night stay here and would highly recommend it. Lovely boutique hotel only a few minutes' walk from the beach and the restaurants. Great staff and delicious breakfast. The room was very comfortable and quiet and everything was immaculately clean. There is parking outside the hotel but you do need to reserve it at 15 euros/night otherwise there are other options. It is situated on a very steep hill but then so is a lot of the accommodation in Tamariu and not an issue for us. Would love to come back for another stay :-)"

"We found Hotel Portbo to be a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the beautiful Calella de Palafrugell. There is a friendly and accommodating staff, the accommodations were clean and well cared for, and the hotel is well-located only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the center of town. The hotel does not have elevator, but the gentleman who checked us in was very kind to carry our bags to the third floor upon arrival and departure. Many reviewers praised the free daily breakfast, and I agree that it was a special treat! The buffet was outstanding, with an extensive selection of fresh, delicious foods which were beautifully arranged and were as delicious as they looked! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would heartily recommend Hotel Portbo to other travelers."
